INGRID RUNTIC was born on 8th of June in Osijek, Croatia. She lived in Zagreb from 2nd year of her life, where she completed her school-education. She began her study of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb 1986 and was travelling quite a lot in following four years in aim to widen her horizons and to get the needed exchange in matters of art. After completing her studies and getting her diploma in year 1990 in the class of Prof. Jordan she received a one-year scholarship at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, where she worked in the class of Prof. Lehmden and Prof. Brauer and also achieved her “magister artium”. She exhibits her work from 1992 on and takes part in many exhibitions with other artists too. Ingrid Runtic lives and works in Zagreb, Croatia. Her pictures are exhibited in private and public collections and companies in Austria and Croatia.
